Ten South Africans from war-torn Sudan arrived home around 5 pm today.
They returned to Johannesburg via Saudi Arabia.
Family and friends have been eagerly awaiting their arrival after clashes broke out in Sudan between the army and a paramilitary group.
The mother of Jono Hainsworth one of the people evacuated spoke to Senior reporter Aviwe Mtila.
