Job Summary
The Operations Department is responsible for managing relationships with third party logistic partners (3PL’s), inventory control and logistics operations to help reduce cost and improve product movement to distributors. To do that the Operations Manager will consult and review with other departments to focus resources appropriately, reduce waste, and increase shipping output.
The Operations Manager will also verify product quality and report quality concerns.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead the process review of the day-to-day third party warehouse activities to assure that Young Living’s quality and processes are met and maximized.
Consult and project manage the product needs of will-call and Third Party shipping warehouse to ensure there is adequate stock at both locations to meet product sales demands.
Oversee product forecasting to ensure correct and continuous stock of product.
Implement and oversee regular cycle counts of product at various company warehouses.
Responsible for timely procurement of domestic and international product to ensure proper stock levels.
Work with U.S. Parent Corporation and shipping companies to efficiently import Young Living Products
Optimize, implement and successfully manage efficiency and quality standards.
Analyze and implement process flow improvements, to include capabilities for growth.
Oversees physical facilities to ensure a safe, efficient, and attractive work environment for staff and distributors.
Other responsibilities as assigned by the General Manager.
Provides for maintenance and upkeep of office and willcall (small internal warehouse) physical facilities to ensure a safe, efficient and attractive environment.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year College or University; or at least two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
