SAPS to give update on Operation Shanela
Deputy Police Minister Cassel Mathale will give an update on Operation Shanela on Friday.
He and Deputy Police Commissioner Tokello Mosikili will also visit a roadblock in Mangaung.
Operation Shanela is a weekly high-density operation across all provinces.
It has yielded some positive results with thousands being arrested.
The Deputy Minister will also deliver a keynote address at a three-day SAPS summit.
It’s looking at preventing and combating gender-based violence and femicide.
