Cops arrest 2 for drugs in Reiger Park during Operation Okae Molao

The police’s Operation Okae molao is continuing this weekend. On Friday, officers were in Reiger Park in Ekurhuleni.

Two suspects were arrested in the first few hours of setting up a roadblock.

Gauteng Police Commissioner Elias Mawela says that a lack of recreational facilities in communities like Reiger Park contributes to social ills.

It’s been a bit more than three-and-a-half years since the launch of the operation, and it’s resulted in thousands of arrests for various crimes.
