CONTROL ROOM OPERATOR

Primary functions of the position:

Contacting clients on incoming alarms on the various systems in the control room.

Main tasks of Job:

• Contacting clients on incoming alarms on the systems being monitored by the control room
• Assisting clients with location requests
• Transferring incidents or recoveries to the inbound controllers
• Transferring administrative, technical or account related queries to the relevant departments.
• Logging of tickets
• Emailing of basic requests

Person specification:

• Motivated and driven individual
• Good communication skills

Minimum requirements:

• Own transport ESSENTIAL!
• PC literacy (Excel and Word essential)
• Good English comprehension
• Grade 12 (essential)
