Over 300 000 Gauteng Grade 1 and 8 online applications processed
The Gauteng Education Department says over 300,000 Grade 1 and 8 online admissions applications have been successfully processed.
Applications opened on Thursday last week.
More than 131,000 applications have been completed for Grade one and just under 170,000 for Grade eight.
The 2024 Online Admissions application for both grades will close on 14 July.
Parents complained about the system earlier in 2023, after some pupils failed to be placed.
