One person dead in North West floods

One person has died in the Deelpan floods. The North West is the third province to be hit by flooding in the country in under a month.

Deelpan is still recovering from floods in March that washed away homes and livestock.
Seven villages are affected as they are in low lying areas.

The mayor of the Ngaka Modiri Molema District Municipality, Molefe Khumalo says heavy rains have caused more flooding in the area now.
