At 17H40 Thursday afternoon Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on an unamed road near a private lot in Shelly Beach on the KZN South Coast.
Reports from the scene indicate that two light motor vehicles and a motorcycle were involved in a collision.
Medics assessed the scene and found that two occupants from the light motor vehicles sustained minor injuries and declined ambulance transportation to hospital.
An adult female also an occupant from one of the vehicles sustained serious injuries and required Advanced Life Support intervention to stabilise her.
Sadly the motorcyclist, an adult male had sustained fatal injuries and was declared deceased on the scene.
