Fikile Mbalula: 690 people died on SA roads since 1 December

Six-hundred-and-ninety people have died on South African roads since the 1st of December.
Transport minister Fikile Mbalula says this is a 5.7 percent decline when compared to the same time last year.
The Minister released the preliminary festive season road safety stats on Tuesday.
Despite this, Mbalula says it is no reason to celebrate.
“One life lost, is one life too many,” he says.
Mbalula says that law enforcement will continue to be visible along the country’s roads.
