Omuhle Gela is keeping it Real with her Fans

The life of entertainers may come across as fancy and glamorous but in South Africa, many entertainers and their fans have come to learn that being on TV does not equate to getting a lot of money. In fact, it is the opposite.

In a recent interview on Metro FM with Thomas & Pearl, Muvhango actress – Omuhle Gela shared the reality of being a full-time actress in the country and this is what she had to say:

“Yoh, asinamali. People always feel like we earn enough money. But, I don’t feel like we earn enough money for the amount of work we put in. Especially when you’re a full-time actor and you’re working the whole day and sometimes the whole night, Monday to Friday. So I really don’t feel like we get enough money and people always assume that when you’re on TV you’re balling and it’s so much pressure for us because we do need to look decent. The reality is we don’t make enough money.

To financially sustain herself, Omuhle has branched into other businesses such as creating her own swimwear line, plus, she also has a catering business on the side as well.

Omuhle also opened up about going under the knife and enhancing her breasts.

Omuhle shared that it was something she had always taken into consideration because naturally, she was flat-chested and wanted her breasts to be a bit fuller.

“I was so flat-chested, but there was nothing wrong with it. I don’t like big boobs, even now I just did a c-cup I didn’t want to have big boobs but it’s something I’ve always wanted to do and I just kept procrastinated and I said I was going to do it after having kids, but the kids aren’t coming so.
