KwaZulu-Natal: Saturday afternoon, Netcare 911 responded to reports of a motorcycle crash on an unnamed road in Hilton.
Reports indicate that an adult male Enduro rider lost control, slamming into a tree, coming to rest approximately twenty meters down an embankment.
A Netcare 911 rescue technician set up a rope rescue system to allow rescuers to descend down to the seriously injured Patient.
Once treated and stabilized by advanced life support paramedics, the patient was hauled up the embankment.
Due to the nature of the patients in injuries, a Netcare 911 helicopter ambulance was activated to airlift the man to a nearby hospital.
