Full Job Description

We are looking for an organized Office Assistant. Duties will include assisting our sales consultants, will be dealing with customers directly, taking photos of stock, updating our website (WordPress), creating Facebook marketplace ads, updating our stock Gallery, answering calls, WhatsApp, and Emails, scheduling, sending quotes and invoices on Quickbooks, filing, Ad hoc, and general office duties. Candidate needs to be a self-starter, able to keep to a schedule, and a to-do list, able to follow instructions, and have good organizational skills. Needs to be phone and computer literate. The candidate will need to have good verbal and written communication skills. Sales experience would be a plus as they would have a small sales target. Min 2-year experience in an admin/assistant position. Matric Certificate. Must have own transport.

The daily wage is R350 per day, so the monthly salary for 24 Days is R8 400. Income Tax & UIF will be deducted where applicable. 6-Month Contract 1 Month Probation. You can send your CV to jobs@hnaofficefurniture.co.za

Working Hours: Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 17:00, Saturdays from 8:00 to 13:00.

Note: If candidate works shorter hours, they will be required to finish their work first before they can leave. If the candidate works until 15:00 for a certain period and works later on another day, no overtime will be paid as the working hours are until 17:00.

Responsibilities:

Taking quality photos of stock and editing photos
Update our website (Wordpress site) weekly (2-3 times per week)
Create Facebook Marketplace ads
Update Facebook Marketplace ads Daily x 3
Update our current Stock Gallery: Laptop and Phone
Answering Calls, WhatsApps, and Emails in a professional manner
Respond to comments and messages on Facebook and Instagram in a speedy manner
Schedule Deliveries and Collections
Admin Duties such as filing, typing, copying, scanning, printing, etc.
Provide Information by Answering Questions and Requests
Helpful, Fast, and Responsive Communication with Customers
Creating, Sending, and Printing of Quotes, Invoices, and Delivery Notes on Quickbooks
Assisting Customers Online and Walk-Ins
Provide good customer service
Create artwork on Canva when needed
Assist Sales Consultants

Requirements:

Being Polite, Neat, and Professional
Min 2-year experience in an admin/assistant position
Experience with Android phones
Time Management Skills and the Ability to Prioritise Work
Attention to Detail and Problem-Solving Skills
Strong Organization Skills with the ability to Multi-Task
Matric Certificate
Bilingual in Afrikaans and English
Good Verbal and Written Communication
Sales Experience is a Plus
