Overview

Element has an opportunity for an Office Administrator to join its growing team in Deeside. As the Office Administrator, you will support the team with administrative duties including purchase order processing, sick and holiday leave tracking, note-taking for meetings and other general administrative duties involved in the efficient operation of the busy laboratory team.

Responsibilities
Answering the telephone and directing calls and messages
Greeting visitors and ensuring they are properly inducted for their site visit
Creating Purchase Orders accurately
Documenting goods received and invoices accurately
Creating Air Way Bills for couriers
Stock control of canteen and cleaning supplies, plus stationery
Filing and maintenance of personnel and supplier files
Completing HR documents under the supervision of the UK team.
Completing supplier/vendor documents “Completing supplier/vendor documents” and maintain records for factors like BBEEE etc.
Payroll support
Pension fund administration on the SANLAM portal
SARS PAYE submission with (Paymaster Payroll Solution)
Drafting new contracts and induction of new starters
Dealing with government departments re: eg import license, workman’s compensation
Prepare IRP5s and PAYE at end of tax year
Ad hoc duties as required (may or may not be related to administration)
Skills / Qualifications
Relevant education to meet the requirements above
Significant experience working in a similar, fast-paced office
Experience dealing with SARS/Paymaster, IRP5s and PAYE a huge advantage
Highly motivated and organised individual, who is a team player
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work independently and adhere to deadlines
