Liquor Traders Council: Allow off-premise consumption

The alcohol industry wants the government to consider keeping the sales of alcohol at the current restriction level of Monday to Thursday.

It says the sector won’t survive the total ban.

The industry says a total ban only leads to illicit trade.

President Cyril Ramaphosa will be addressing the nation tonight.
