North West police offer reward for info on torched buses incident

Police in the North West is offering a reward of up to R50 000 for anyone that has information that could lead to the arrest and successful prosecution of the alleged perpetrators responsible for the fires at two Bojanala Bus Depots in Rustenburg.
Provincial police spokesperson Colonel Adele Myburgh says six buses were set on fire in Chaneng while 17 were torched in Tlaseng.
The joint estimated value of the damages is R69 million.
“The Provincial Police Commissioner, Lieutenant General Sello Kwena, urged the community to come forward with information that will ensure that these ruthless criminals, whose actions are hampering the transportation of school children and elderly persons, are brought to book.
