North West govt to investigate Sun City fire
North West Economic Development MEC Tsotso Tlhapi says they are working closely with the management of Cabanas Hotel and Manyane Resort to establish the root cause of the fire. This comes after the fire outbreak that gutted parts of Sun City on Saturday.
There have been no injuries reported, however, Manyane Resort is currently closed until further notice.
Nobody was injured and guest accommodation is unaffected, but arrangements are being made for Cabanas guests to use the nearby Sun City hotel’s dining area,” Hoppe said
It is still unclear what caused the fire. At this stage we do not know what the source of the fire was but will be undertaking a thorough investigation,” he said.
