KwaZulu-Natal: At 14H12 Friday afternoon Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on the M4 Tongaat.
Reports from the scene indicate that a bakkie and car were involved in a head-on collision.
Medics assessed the scene and found that and adult female had sustained fatal injuries and was sadly declared deceased on the scene.
An adult male had also sustained critical injuries and was treated on scene by private Advanced Life Support paramedics.
Once stabilized the patient was transported by ambulance to the hospital for further treatment.
