Gauteng Premier, Panyaza Lesufi says the new executive council is one that represents skills, competency and a team where more women will be leading.

Lesufi has announced Nomantu Nkomo-Ralehoko as the new Health and Wellness MEC, and Tasneem Motara as Economic Development and Tourism MEC.

Meanwhile, Faith Mazibuko has retained her position as Gauteng community safety MEC.

This while Jacob Mamabolo has been moved from Transport to Finance.
