Nomalanga Shozi replaces Pearl Thusi
Actress and TV presenter Pearl Thusi has been axed as a presenter for BET’s Behind The Story after 4 years of successfully hosting the show. According to Entertainment commentator Phil Phela, Nomalanga Shozi will be replacing Pearl as the new host of Behind The Story.
“Season 5 of Behind The Story starts in October with Nomalanga Shozi as the new host,” Phil tweeted.
He also applauded the channel for its efforts to elevate Nomalanga’s career all these years.
Gotta commend BET for sticking with Nomalanga Shozi. Viacom or whoever handles talent at BET Africa has put their full support behind her. Shem, they plug the lady. She was even on Isono. She does all BET events coverage, etc. Reminds me of what SABC1 used to do for its talent.
