TNS pulls a no show again

Award-winning musician TNS has angered the owner of Breeze Lounge in Mpumalanga after he pulled a no-show – twice!

TNS, real name Nkazimulo Ngema, was booked to perform last month.

According to owner Million Myeni, TNS was late for his performance and they rescheduled for another date.

“When I called, he said he was in Harrismith – a six-hour drive from my venue. I suggested that we choose another date and he agreed,” he told Daily Sun.

Then came the second date, and the Umona hitmaker was missing, again.

“I called to ask why he didn’t pitch again, and he said he could not travel to Mpumalanga for a mere R20 000,” said the owner of the popular lounge.

“What puzzled me is that when we spoke to him the first time, he agreed to the amount and took the money.”

The angry business owner told the People’s Paper that he did not expect this from TNS.

“This has caused trouble. People think we do false advertising. What I want right now is for him is to give me back my money. He has not said anything about paying me back.

“Instead, he is telling me that he needs to have three other gigs before he can come, which is not what we agreed upon,” he said.

TNS’s manager Ngcebo Ndima said: “We acknowledge that he did not come, but we will make arrangements to sort out the matter with the lounge owner in January.

“We apologise, and will make sure that we reschedule the performance for another time.”
