NMB mayor hospitalised

Nelson Mandela Bay Mayor Nqaba Bhanga has been admitted to hospital after being involved in a car accident.

Two others involved in the crash succumbed to their injuries.

Bhanga this week received the nod as the DA’s Mayoral candidate for the metro for the upcoming local government elections.

It’s reported Bhanga’s injuries are more serious than initially thought and he will be undergoing surgery on Sunday to treat internal bleeding.
