Drama as Somizi demands his money back after spending R30 000 on a night out with friends
Media personality Somizi Mhlongo revealed that he made his entourage pay him back R3000 each after he footed a R30 000 bill on a night out in Cape Town, on the latest episode of his reality show which was released on Showmax on Wednesday 1 June.
Somizi Mhlongo revealed that he asked his entourage to each pay him back R3000 after he was left to foot a R30 000 bill on a night out in Cape Town – in a conversation with his friend Ndo Maleho.
“Yesterday after we left, I ended up paying the bill. So I called everyone and I told them I paid R30k, I told them to pay R3000 each,” he said.
“Welcome to 2022. How are we going to afford living in London if we keep paying everyone’s bills?” asked Ndo.
“I told them that I came there to work not to play. They couldn’t believe it,” the media personality continued.
Twitter users were shocked that people such as Somizi have R30 000 on them to cover such expensive bills.

Others thought that it was shocking that the Idols SA judge’s friends did not feel bad about letting him pick up the bill on his own.
