Eskom says that they will be implementing stage 4 and 5 blackouts on Monday.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, there will a shift to stage 3 and 4 blackouts.
The power utility says it will publish another update as soon as significant changes occur.
Stages of blackouts are being reduced after the country spent several days on stage 6.
The reductions are due to a generating unit each at the Arnot, Grootvlei, Kendal, Medupi and Tutuka power stations returning to service.
