Eskom appoints new Generation head
Eskom has appointed Bheki Nxumalo as its new Group Executive for Generation. He will report directly to acting CEO, Calib Cassim. Nxumalo’s career in the energy sector spans two decades.
He was previously CEO of Eskom Enterprise and Rotek Industries. Additionally, Nxumalo managed two power stations.
He believes the utility has the technical and managerial capability to turn things around. South Africans are currently in the grips of Stage 6 rolling blackouts.
