Nelson Chamisa finally speaks on the seizure of Harvest House: Video. MDC Alliance president Nelson Chamisa has accused his erstwhile colleagues in MDC-T of working in cahoots with the ruling ZANU PF party to destroy Zimbabwe’s largest opposition party.

Speaking following Thursday night’s seizure of the MDC Alliance’s headquarters, the Morgan Richard Tsvangirai (MRT) House by MDC-T youths who were supported by the military and police, Chamisa said MDC-T secretary-general Douglas Mwonzora was lying when he said there were a peaceful handover and takeover. Chamisa said:

You can’t be the opposite of what is supporting you. They are being supported by ZANU-PF and the state in everything. It is clear that MDC-T and ZANU-PF are on the same page – to destroy the alternative voice, to destroy democracy and they will not succeed.
