#NationalShutdown: Busa calls for swift action against law-breaking

Business Unity South Africa is calling on law enforcement officers to act swiftly if there’s any form of violence during the planned national shutdown.

Busa CEO Cas Coovadia says such a call by the EFF will only hamper investor confidence.

Meanwhile, 87 protesters have been arrested in the past 15 hours for public-violence-related offenses.

They are said to have been participating in the National Shutdown.

The arrests have been made by the National Joint Operational and Intelligence Structure.
