National Coronavirus Command Council gives an update on Level 1 regulations

Ministers in the National Coronavirus Command Council will brief the country on the regulations relating to the COVID-19 Level 1 restrictions.
The Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs, Dr Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma, will lead the briefing on Friday.
President Cyril Ramaphosa addressed the nation on Wednesday on progress in the national effort to contain the COVID-19 pandemic.
Ramaphosa announced that South Africa is moving to Level 1 of the lockdown.
Cabinet decided that the country should move as of midnight on Sunday, 20 September.
“This move recognises that levels of infection are relatively low and that there is sufficient capacity in our health system to manage the current need,” Ramaphosa said.
