2 cops due in court in connection with Nathan Julies’ death

Two South African Police Service (SAPS) members will appear in court on Monday in connection with the shooting of 16-year-old Nathaniel Julies from Eldorado Park.

Julies was shot and died in hospital this week.

The Independent Police Investigative Directorate (Ipid) says the pair will be charged with murder and possibly defeating the ends of justice.

Community members stormed the police station claiming police were responsible for the teen’s death.

His death sparked protests against police in the area.
