Nandipha Magudumana’s legal team is threatening legal action against the Department of Correctional Services.
That is if they are not furnished with a report of an alleged assault on Magudumana by the end of April.
In a letter to DCS seen by the publication, an image of Magudumana’s injuries has been attached.
The photograph was allegedly taken on 25 March- a week after the alleged incident.
A statement by DCS after the incident alleged that Magudumana had been examined and had no visible injuries.
In addition, she had been advised to open a case and that the matter was under investigation.
Magudumana’s legal team is accusing DCS of a cover-up and believes that she’s being treated unfairly.
