The State is set to continue presenting evidence against one of the accused in the high-profile trial against alleged underworld gang boss Nafiz Modack on Tuesday.
Amaal Jantjies faces charges of conspiracy to commit murder for allegedly plotting a hand grenade attack on slain top cop Charl Kinnear.
Jantjies, Modack, and 13 others are accused of committing crimes, including the murder of Kinnear in 2020.
Jantjies faces charges of conspiracy to commit murder for allegedly planning a grenade attack on the Kinnear family in November 2019.
A suspect, who has since been sentenced, alleges Jantjies gave him the grenade and instructed him to commit the crime.
However, police stationed to protect Kinnear at his Bishop Lavis home prevented the attack by arresting a suspect in possession of the grenade.
The State will on Tuesday continue presenting evidence to show Jantjies plotted the attack on behalf of Modack.
