Nafiz Modack & 14 others in court on over 3 000 charges

The trial of alleged gang boss Nafiz Modack and his 14 co-accused may be moved to the Goodwood Prison due to space and security concerns.

The trial, once underway, is expected to last at least three years with about 300 witnesses expected to testify.

Modack is accused of masterminding the 2020 murder of anti-gang cop Charl Kinnear.

Kinnear was shot and killed outside his Bishop Lavis home in the Western Cape in a suspected assassination.
