Nafiz Modack consulting with his lawyer to prepare for his testimony
Cape Town, South Africa – Alleged underworld gang boss Nafiz Modack is set to consult with his lawyer on Tuesday as he prepares to take the stand in his high-profile trial.
Modack, along with 14 co-accused, is facing a staggering 122 charges related to the operation of a criminal enterprise. These charges include murder, extortion, corruption, and money laundering, all linked to his alleged role in Cape Town’s criminal underworld.

Modack’s co-accused, Zane Kilian, a former rugby player and private investigator, was the last to testify before Modack. Kilian is accused of using sophisticated cellphone tracking technology to monitor Kinnear’s movements before the detective was murdered.
On Monday, Kilian concluded his testimony, paving the way for Modack to take the stand next.
