Abhuti Fill Up dropped out of high school in 2006 at the age of 16. Cassper took a huge risk dropping out of school and not to encourage anyone else to do it too, but he has become one of the most successful artists in the country.

Although she managed to get the job as a host for SABC live her parents were not thrilled at all, to them a career on television was not considered a stable job.

However, Bonang worked hard at convincing her parents that dropping out of varsity was actually not a bad idea and boy was she right. Bonang has made an amazing success of her life and is a role model for thousands of young South African girls who aspire to work in the entertainment industry.

Mrs Jones left her studies at UCT to pursue a TV career. Minnie was studying film, media, drama and economics at UCT but she de-registered so that she could move to Joburg where she worked hard and made a name for herself.
