Pics: Mzansi celebs proudly supporting Pride Month – #Pride2020

While there is so much sadness, hate and uncertainty filling the globe, Mzansi celebs decided to brighten things up by showing their support to the LGBTQ community for Pride Month.

Seeing how many people have become accepting of all different kinds of love is truly heartwarming. There are many celebs in SA who are a part of the LGBTQ community. Lasizwe Dambuza, Mohale Motaung and Somizi Mohale are just a few. June marks the start of international Pride Month where love of all types, shapes, sizes and colours is celebrated and accepted. Normally there are huge parades and parties that take place in the month of June all over the world in celebration of Pride, however, with this pandemic, taking to social media is how people will make their mark.

Being open about one’s sexuality is not easy but it is definitely something that should be respected, celebrated and accepted.

Seeing the number of Mzansi celebs who took to social media to show their support, even if they themselves are not a part of the LGBTQ community, is truly inspiring. Love is love, and that is all that should be said! Here are just some of the amazing celebs who proudly and unapologetically showed their support.
