M-Net recently confirmed that season two of The Bachelor SA is in the works and we can’t wait to see which local hunk they choose! Season one of the dating reality show was a hit for M-Net, with viewers commenting on every move Lee Thompson made.
The show was filled with lots of drama, including a stolen diary, fainting and a dramatic exist by one of the contestants.
Lee gave celebrity make-up artist Gina Myers the final rose, but their romance was over before the show aired. The Cape Town entrepreneur was criticised for not opening up enough on the show and for sounding too scripted.
We think these famous bachelors will be naturals in front of the camera!
Maps Maponyane
Model Maps Maponyane is the perfect man for the job. He is single, handsome, stylish and the ultimate gentleman.
His love life has been quiet since he broke up with Nomzamo Mbatha last year. The 29-year-old was linked to Boity earlier this year, but the pair are currently just friends.
Sizwe Dhlomo
We’re not sure about Sizwe’s current relationship status but if he is single, he might want to consider The Bachelor SA gig.
The media personality revealed in November last year that she would like to marry one day, and have children.
“I believe in marriage, my parents have been married for 36 years and counting and that’s my reference, they seem happy but so far so good,” he said on the Fresh Breakfast Show.
Cedric Fourie
If you look up the word ‘hunky’ in the dictionary you will find a picture of Cedric Fourie!
The actor has left many women (and men) drooling over his shirtless pictures on Instagram. He also seems like a fun person to be around, which would make entertaining viewing.
Musa Mthombeni
Dr Musa Mthombeni is South Africa’s favourite chocolate bae. Not only he is a qualified medical doctor, but he is also funny.
It is time he stops dreaming about actress Thuso Mbedu and gives love a chance on The Bachelor SA.
ProVerb
ProVerb is used to being in front of the camera and is naturally charming.
The Idols SA presenter’s love life has been a bit of a rollercoaster ride. He split from his wife Onalerona in 2015 after she was caught in a cheating scandal. ProVerb found love again in the arms of former Miss South Africa, Liesl Laurie. Sadly, the couple quietly called it quits last year.
ProVerb is focused on his career and children, but becoming the next bachelor could add a little spice to his life.
