Mzansi celebrities react to brutal Thoriso’s death. After Thoriso was brutally murdered, his body was found between Erasmus Street and Cestrum Avenue in Flora Park.

Since Tuesday, South Africa has been deeply shocked at the mob-killing of a 27-year-old man by the name of Thoriso Themane in Polokwane, Limpopo which sparked the #JusticeForThoriso on Twitter.

Thoriso was unfortunately pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital, although he was killed on Saturday, the news of how he was murdered made national news by Tuesday.

It is believed that Thoriso’s murderers were a group of teenagers between the ages of 15 -16 years old.

 

Since the news broke, society has been calling for the teenagers to be brought to book. People have been so angered by Thoriso’s passing that some members of society have requested for the death penalty to be made legal again.

Many of South Africa’s media personalities and entertainers have also come out to voice their opinions about the murder of Thoriso.

Cassper Nyovest shared that he had a close friend who was also killed in a similar manner and that his late friend never really got the justice he deserved.

Masechaba Ndlovu expressed that if one is old enough to murder then they are also old enough to face the might of the law.

The unfortunate part of this entire sad story is that a video of Thoriso’s lifeless body has gone viral on social media and although some people have requested for others to stop sharing the video, it is sadly a little too late.

DJ Zinhle tweeted that she hopes that Thoriso’s parents do not see the video of their child in that state.

While Relebogile Mabotja something that was truly heartbreaking.

ENCA has since confirmed that five suspects have been arrested by Limpopo police officials following Thoriso’s murder.

Speaking to Times Live, Thoriso’s father Pastor Mahlapahlapana Themane said his son had left for church practice on Saturday and never came back.
