Its day 10 of the national lockdown and the people of Mzansi are going through various struggles whilst being stuck in their homes. Now, before the lockdown began those who were fortunate enough made sure to stock up on their liquor supplies, as during the lockdown all the sale of liquor and cigarettes is prohibited.
However, now 10 days into the lockdown some people have already finished their stashes and unfortunately, there is no getting more. Media personality Somizi, took to Instagram to share a video of himself giving a special message to those who are frustrated with non-availability or access to alcohol.
Somizi in the video can be seen in a bathtub, singing a song that mentions Bheki Cele and the none availability of ciders and champagne. Just as those watching think Somizi is sympathizing with them in their thirst struggle, he lets them know that lack of alcohol is not a problem for him because he is fully stocked. Have you been drinking during the lockdown or are you using the time to detox?
