Teenager charged with murder of schoolgirl

A Cape Town teenage netball player was shot and killed just 11 days before realising her dream of attending the Netball World Cup.

Naeema Marshall (14) from Mitchells Pain was shot in the head in Eerste Rivier earlier this week while visiting her aunt.

Her mother Fadeema Marshall says her daughter often visited her aunt.

Police have confirmed that a 14-year-old boy had been arrested and charged with murder.

It’s alleged the boy wanted to have a relationship with her.
