EFF demands dismissal of Hillary Gardee murder accused

The EFF in Ekurhuleni is calling for the immediate dismissal of Sipho Mkhatshwa.

He is one of the three men accused of the rape and murder of 28-year-old Hillary Gardee.

Mkhatshwa works in the province’s Strategy and Corporate Planning department.

He is the nephew of veteran politician Smangaliso Mkhatshwa.

In a statement, the EFF says Mkhatshwa must be dismissed to send a strong statement against the brutal abuse, harassment, and killing of women in South Africa.

The three accused are facing six charges, including rape, murder, kidnapping, and defeating the ends of justice.
