Multiple people injured when car knocks them down… At 21H55 Saturday night, Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on Mooketsi Street in Esangweni, Thembisa.

Reports from the scene indicate that the driver of a light motor vehicle lost control crashing into pedestrians on the roadside.

Three patients sustained moderate injuries. Once treated and stabilised all the patients were transported by ambulance to the hospital for further treatment.

Young boy killed following a collision with a tree. At 15H17 Sunday afternoon, Netcare 911 responded to reports of a serious collision on Oxford Road near Rosebank Mall in Melrose.

Reports from the scene indicate that the driver of a light motor vehicle lost control resulting in the car crashing into a tree.

Paramedics assessed the scene and found that a 17-year-old male believed to be the front passenger had sustained fatal injuries and was declared deceased on the scene. read more
