Mpumelelo Mseleku’s ex-girlfriend Vuyokazi gets married

Popular South African polygamist, Musa Mseleku’s son Mpumelelo has lavished his ex-girlfriend Vuyokazi Nxiweni with love and well wishes after she recently tied the knot.

Vuyokazi, who has two children with Mpumelelo and broke up with him earlier this year, took to her timeline on Sunday to announce she was officially off the market.

Reacting to the news, Mpumelelo told the publication he was happy to see Vuyokazi move on.

“I’m happy for her. May God be with her. God is good. God loves his children. He saw what she wanted and blessed her with marriage,” he said.

In a recent episode of his family’s reality show Izingane Zes’thembu, Tirelo asked Vuyokazi whether she would have stayed in the relationship had Mpumelelo kept his promise to make her his first wife, and she responded “yes”.

Mpumelelo has only one girlfriend, Tirelo, with whom he has a one-year-old baby.

Previously shedding light on navigating polygamy, Mpumelelo said he was following in his father’s footsteps.

“I got an opportunity to showcase what I do. How to structure polygamy and make people understand you don’t start polygamy when you are old. You have to start it now and grow with it to understand the dynamics. It’s not forced. It’s something I was raised in. People are failing to understand that,” he told TshisaLIVE.

Mpumelelo said having witnessed his father, who has four wives, smoothly run different relationships, he knew how to do the same for his growing family.

“What I learned from my father is to always be truthful, humble and respectful, and know how to apologise.

“In Zulu we have a saying that a person does what they witnessed from their father when growing up. It’s like someone who grows up in a family where they have a taxi business. A person who grows up in such a home would never turn down that business.”
