Soweto mourns the loss of Desmond Tutu

South Africans and the world are mourning the death of Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu.

People came from all over to express their heartfelt condolences to the late Archbishop’s family at their Soweto home.

Tutu passed away on Sunday aged 90 after a long battle with prostate cancer.

Visitors are expected to converge on a number of venues on Monday to pay their respects to Tutu, including Vilakazi Street.

It’s the only street in the world on which two Nobel Peace Prize winners have lived.
