Genius Kadungure’s friend Limumba Karim who died in the Rolls Royce freak accident on November 8 along Borrowdale road received a grandiose send-off on Friday in the plush city of Sandton in South Africa.
On Friday family and close companions of Ginimbi bid him farewell in what was arguably the most expensive funeral procession ever seen in the streets of Harare that comprised of a fleet of high-end luxury supercars. While in South Africa the late millionaire and businessman Limumba Karim who was affectionately known as Karim Cazal received a similar send-off on the streets of Sandton that included Italian sports cars, German Luxury SUVs, and British sedans among others.
In one of the videos shared by Karim’s close friend Gilbert Kamaliza on Twitter a long and loud procession of luxury supercars guided by the South African Police can be seen making its way to Sandton all in honour of Limumba Karim Cazal.
Ginimbi’s friend Karim was a fugitive from justice in his home country Malawi involving the biggest corruption scandal in Malawi’s history that took place in 2013. At the time of his untimely death, he was based in SA and came to Zimbabwe for Moana’s birthday party as Ginimbi’s VIP Guest.
Limumba Karim, Ginimbi and two others died in a freak road accident when their Rolls Royce collided with a Honda Fit and veered off the road, and hit a tree. According to first responders on the accident scene, Karim Cazal was burnt alive when the Rolls Royce burst into flames.
According to reports Limumba Karim will be laid to rest this afternoon in his adopted home in South Africa at the same as his ‘partner in crime’ Ginimbi. They flocked together, dined together, died together and now they will be buried on the same day and at the same time.
