Motshekga concerned about pupils as Class of 2021 begin final exams

The Class of 2021 has experienced the worst circumstances due to Covid-19. That’s the concern of Basic Education Minister Angie Motshekga. She says pupils had to combine Grade 11 and matric work this year.

I think we are ready to go. This is the class with the most difficult times,” she said. Matric pupils say they are confident as they began writing their National Senior Certificate exams.

Over the next five weeks, 207 exam papers will be written.
