Motsepe Foundation to sponsor the Metro FM Awards

Since 1999, they have been one of the leading foundations contributing towards eradicating poverty and sustainably improving the living conditions and standards of living of the poor in South Africa. They have done this by assisting communities to get access to quality education, sports, and education bursaries and initiating the job creation and skills development.

This year, the Motsepe Foundation, founded by business mogul Patrice Motsepe and wife Dr. Precious Moloi-Motsepe join as the official sponsor of the Metro FM Awards (MMA’s) that are all about celebrating Mzansi artists and creatives. Last year the same foundation came to the rescue of the SAMA awards after the KZN goverment pulled out at the last minute following criticism that the money they were going to sponsor should rather be allocated to reviving and improving the lives of many, following a spate of floods in that province.
