Motorists cautioned of several road closures ahead of EFF Carnival

Authorities have warned motorists of several road closures in Alexandra and Sandton, north of Johannesburg as the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) Carnival gets under way. The carnival is part of several activities in the build up to party’s tenth anniversary rally to be held at the FNB Stadium next Saturday.
Gauteng Traffic Police Spokesperson, Obed Sibasa says: “Officers are deployed to monitor the march and affected routes. Motorists are urged to be patient…use alternative routes.”
