Wow! Where has all the time gone? Can you believe that Katlego Danke’s son is almost four years old now?
The actress, who is currently killing it on SABC3 soapie Isidingo, recently spoke about her motherhood journey. Yes, we know she seldom does interviews and that’s why we were excited when we heard she was going to be on Kaya FM.
Speaking to Bridget Masinga about her journey as a mother so far, the former Generations star joked: “That journey is like a runaway train…” She added: “It’s an incredibly beautiful journey at the same time, you get invited to find out somebody’s life with them. And nothing in this world prepares you for the joy, for the challenges, for the responsibility, for everything that comes with it. But it’s beautiful, it really is.
Katlego has learned that it’s not your journey as a parent. “It’s not your journey, you don’t write it, the story was written before you came along.”
The actress said she’s always wanted to be a mother. “That’s the one thing I always knew I wanted to be. I love kids, I love them I love their innocence, I love their beauty and the way they see the world. It’s one of those things I always knew I wanted to do. I just wanted to watch this beautiful being just come to be.”
