The above mentioned Fixed Term Contract position exists within the Gauteng North provincial area at the Pretoria Preparation Centre. The position will be filled for a period of twelve months. The incumbent will be exposed to the funeral environment and will be required to manage the mortuary function.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Day to day operations, management and control of the mortuary
Management of mortuary personnel
Preparation and care of the remains of the deceased when required
Ensure compliance with legislation
Ensure OHS regulations are adhered to
Management of the mortuary function
Management of mortuary administration
Ensure the mortuary is in good hygienic order
Ensure the preparation and repatriation of bodies for out-state-burials
Oversee the preparation of the deceased for viewing
Take responsibility of equipment in the mortuary
Stock control and asset management
Maintain Image and Client Service
Required Skills

Candidate Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION:
Matric
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION:
3 Years functional experience in the Funeral Industry
Supervisory experience
SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION:
Communication skills

This position reports to: Preparation Centre Facility Manager
