More Bad news from Eskom
Bad news for those who made evening plans for Saturday after Eskom suspended power cuts earlier. They’re back this hour, with Stage 4 cuts until 5am Sunday morning.
Thereafter it will be suspended again until 4 pm in the afternoon. The ailing power utility says it will publish a further update soon and will communicate immediately when any significant changes occur.
The county’s electricity grid has been under severe stress due to ailing infrastructure, breakdowns, repairs and greater demand as temperatures plummet.

Kaya FM host Dineo Ranaka allegedly discharged herself from a mental hospital in Pretoria. The alleged reports come barely after it was reported that the celebrated radio host was admitted to a mental health facility after she made it known that she was unwell. Sunday World seemingly confirmed that Ranaka was discharged from the hospital barely three days after checking in.
