Moodle Helpdesk (Support) Technician needed: APPLY HERE

Cape Town, Western Cape

Role Summary:

You will be experienced in the use of Moodle both front-end and from a server perspective, able to provide valuable support to customers around the globe with varying support queries. Problem-solving and research skills would be beneficial in that area.

Your communication skills, written and verbal, must be exceptional because you will be assisting with training and consultations from time to time. You must be dynamic and thrive as part of an energetic team. You will be responsible for true customer success and improving learner outcomes – the ability to demonstrate your influence in these areas would be beneficial.

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with Moodle (Support, Theme Building, Training, problem-solving.
HTML / CSS
Excellent communication skills
Excellent proficiency in spoken and written English
Logical and neat work ethics

Experience in the following will be an added advantage:

Moodle theme building
Understanding of PHP
Understanding of Linux servers
Understanding of Amazon Web Services (aws) or Azure
Helpdesk (tickets) experience
Good proficiency in spoken and written French
Good proficiency in spoken and written Afrikaans
